Lisa Dunning first joined Raworth Moss & Cook in 1971 as personal assistant to Bob Lightfoot, who was a senior partner at the time.
This position included various administrative duties and the overall supervision of the patent records department. In due course, Lisa was appointed Office Administrator and in that capacity became responsible for the management of the office and clerical staff and the setting up of computer systems including a computerised Intellectual Property Management System. This involved extending her already detailed knowledge of patent formalities and in 1999 she attended a new training course for Patent Administrators set up by the Chartered Institute of Patent Agents culminating in an examination which she passed with credit. In 2000 she attended the ITMA Formalities Course and was successful in passing the Course examination. She is now an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Patent Attorneys and an active participant in the Intellectual Property Administrators Group. Additionally, she holds the position of Quality Assurance Manager, the firm having been accredited to BS EN ISO 9001 since 1994. |
